Helpful parsing of the Committee’s referrals, especially the insurrection charge.

One minor disagreement. No. 2 CONFRAUDUS is more than a Congressional matter, and I think DOJ could easily take it up without a Congressional referral. The fraudulent electors scheme involved not only the certification by Congress but the Electoral College itself and the entire constitutional system of the presidential election process and the transition of power. The multiple strands of Trump’s efforts to remain in power can be woven together on that charge - frex the attempt to corrupt the DOJ to make false assertions and the (rescinded) appointment of Clark as Acting AG.

CONFRAUDUS can be quite capacious, and the various conspirators don’t have to each have been involved in (or even aware of) each strand of the overarching effort.
